Mrs Mac's has added an exciting new product to its Good Eating line-up.
The Good Eating Chicken, Corn & Cheese Roll boasts lean, free-range chicken, blended with sweet juicy corn and creamy light cheese, wrapped in a reduced fat and salt pastry; and is the first chicken product to feature as part of the Mrs Mac's GE range.

Chicken & Mushroom and Chicken & Vegetable Pies
Chicken meat is a perennial Australian favourite with 90% of the population eating chicken meat at least once a week and a third of us eating it three or more times a week (Australian Chicken Meat Foundation Inc. 2011 Report).
Our love for chicken here at Mrs Mac's is as fervent as ever, so this month we're introducing two new, delicious chicken pies!
Our NEW Chicken & Mushroom Pie features home-grown Mt Barker free-range chickens reared in the lush, South-West region of Western Australia. Succulent chicken is slow-cooked then blended with diced mushrooms and smothered in a hearty, creamy sauce. A rich, delicious pie that will have you coming back for more!
Mrs Mac's has also improved the recipe for their Chicken & Vegetable Pie. This product will replace the current 'Roast-style Chicken & Vegetable' - and the new recipe is sure to be a winner with young and old.
So mind your step over this month and next - our new chicken pies are on the loose!
Gourmet Sausage Rolls
Mrs Mac's has released two new sausage rolls with a delicious, gourmet twist. The Angus Beef Sausage Roll and the Chicken & Cheese Roll have been added alongside a tempting line-up of already popular savoury rolls (Spinach & Ricotta and Bacon & Cheese).
As always, Mrs Mac's has placed an emphasis on fresh and premium ingredients with the Verified Angus beef and Free Range chicken sourced from local producers in the South West region of WA. Coupled with gourmet seasonings, the new sausage rolls are wrapped in golden puff pastry with a bakery-style finish ensuring a great tasting ‘local bakery' quality - but...available almost everywhere.
The new savoury rolls come wrapped in new eye-catching contemporary packaging for increased visual appeal and to draw attention to the range.

Introducing Mrs Mac's NEW Breakfast pastry - intended to give you a delicious morning hit that you can take with you wherever you are and whatever you're doing!
The Egg, Bacon & Cheese Breakfast Squarz are available at Caltex Service Stations across Australia from the first week of March, 2012.

Mrs Mac's NEW Angus Steak Pie - different from the rest!
How's this for the ultimate comfort food this Winter: Mrs Mac's Angus Steak Pie has just been launched, with a particular emphasis on fresh produce and quality steak.
The new 280g pie combines chunky Angus steak from the temperate and lush South-West region of Western Australia, an area that is well renowned for producing steak that is tender and flavoursome. Diced, tender pieces of steak are slow-cooked for a true home-baked, gourmet flavour, then smothered in rich gravy and wrapped in crisp, golden pastry.

Calling all Shepherds Pie fanatics - ours just got better!
Mrs Mac's have replaced their 255g Shepherds Pie with a NEW 220g Potato Top Beef Pie, on the back of pie-lovers increasingly looking for food-on-the-go that is not only delicious but offers them greater "value for money".
The recipe hasn't changed; the product is still made from 100% lean Australian Beef in rich gravy and topped with creamy mashed potato.
The decrease in size has provided a significant reduction in price and unlike many manufacturers who reduce the size of their products and continue to charge the same (if not more), Mrs Mac's have passed the cost-saving onto their distributors and customers - who, in turn, will pass it onto the consumer.
Mrs Mac's have changed the method in which the potato is deposited - now, a cluster of rosettes - making the product more visually appealing than the traditional potato swirl.
And you'll be pleased to hear that our new Potato Top Pie contains less kilojoules than the traditional Famous Beef Pie, making it a great option for the health-conscious pie lover.
The Potato Top Pie is wrapped in Mrs Mac's new modern packaging, and available from your nearest convenience outlet or service station.

NEW Good Eating Mini Potato Top Pie
Mrs Mac's has launched a 55g version of the ever-popular 180g Good Eating Potato Top Beef Pie. Perfect for School Canteens, Health and Aged Care facilities due to its nutritional properties and also because it is DEE-licious!!
The product is Heart Foundation Tick Approved, has a Healthy Kids Amber Rating and is FOCiS (Federation of Canteens in Schools) registered.
Developed upon discovering that kids love to interact and play with their food (by dipping and saucing bite-sized items!), the Mini Potato Top is also ideal for health care patients and aged care residents due to its snack size and soft-eat.
To coincide with the launch, the Mini Potato Top Beef Pies have a $5 token embedded into the carton lid. Mrs Mac's NEW Quiche Range
Mrs Mac's are super excited to be baking something bit different this month! Our new Quiches have hit the pie warmer shelves and flying off them at lightning speed.
Think: A delicious filling of creamy egg and bacon, combined with cheddar cheese and a hint of black cracked pepper. Vegetarian? How about this: A tasty recipe combining creamy ricotta cheese and spinach, encased in a golden pastry and topped with baked cheddar cheese.
Mrs Mac's Quiches come in two variants - Egg, Bacon & Cheese and Ricotta & Spinach, and are available from your local service station or retail outlet.

NEW Halal Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie
Mrs Mac's have this month added another delicious flavour to our stable of Halal Certified pies!
Our new Chicken, Leek & Mushroom pie combines tender, diced chicken with fresh leek and sliced mushrooms, all smothered in a creamy, white sauce.
Mrs Mac's only use Halal certified chicken that is hand-slaughtered as per Halal requirements and then mechanically processed. Our Halal Chicken, Leek & Mushroom pie has been approved by the Perth Mosque, the second oldest standing mosque in Australia.
Look out for our Halal Chicken, Leek & Mushroom pies in specially marked packs at your local service station or IGA supermarket.
Mrs Mac's launches Halal Certified Pies!
Mrs Mac's has always been of the opinion that everyone, no matter how old we are, where we come from, or which part of the world we live in, should have the opportunity to experience the greatness of our true Aussie beef pies!
As such, Mrs Mac's is constantly looking for new and exciting ways to cater to the tastes and needs of more people in our diverse, multi-cultural society! This month sees the exciting launch of the NEW Mrs Mac's Halal certified range of pies!
Our Halal pies come in 4 different varieties in a convenient, easy to eat 175g format. Try our best-selling Famous Beef pie, or if you prefer some variety or spice in your life, why not try the Beef & Cheese, Chilli, Beef & Cheese or Chicken, Leek & Mushroom pies.
Now, the Muslim population of Australia can enjoy our traditional 100% Aussie beef pies, for the first time!
But delicious pies aside, it is important to note that this development was 12 months in the baking, as we carefully selected Halal Certified suppliers and re-devised our scheduling, preparation and manufacturing processes to ensure these products are strictly Halal. Fully-documented procedures are in place to ensure 100% compliance, which in addition to actual production checks, are audited and signed off by our Authorized Muslim Representative.
Mrs Mac's elected to be Halal certified by the Perth Mosque, not only due to its proximity to our manufacturing operation in WA, but also because of their credibility in being the second oldest standing Mosque in Australia.
Mrs Mac's Halal certified pies are available across Australia this August, whilst New Zealand will be able to enjoy the Halal range in September (the Halal Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie is not available in NZ). Just look out for the specially marked packs!
