Mrs Mac's launches Halal Certified Pies!
Mrs Mac's has always been of the opinion that everyone, no matter how old we are, where we come from, or which part of the world we live in, should have the opportunity to experience the greatness of our true Aussie beef pies!
As such, Mrs Mac's is constantly looking for new and exciting ways to cater to the tastes and needs of more people in our diverse, multi-cultural society! This month sees the exciting launch of the NEW Mrs Mac's Halal certified range of pies!
Our Halal pies come in 3 different varieties in a convenient, easy to eat 175g format. Try our best-selling Famous Beef pie, or if you prefer some variety or spice in your life, why not try the Beef & Cheese or Chilli, Beef & Cheese pies.
Now, the Muslim population of Australia can enjoy our traditional 100% Aussie beef pies, for the first time!
But delicious pies aside, it is important to note that this development was 12 months in the baking, as we carefully selected Halal Certified suppliers and re-devised our scheduling, preparation and manufacturing processes to ensure these products are strictly Halal. Fully-documented procedures are in place to ensure 100% compliance, which in addition to actual production checks, are audited and signed off by our Authorized Muslim Representative.
Mrs Mac's elected to be Halal certified by the Perth Mosque, not only due to its proximity to our manufacturing operation in WA, but also because of their credibility in being the second oldest standing Mosque in Australia.
Mrs Mac's Halal certified pies are available across Australia this August, whilst New Zealand will be able to enjoy the Halal range in September. Look out for the specially marked packs!

It's All About The Pie campaign - the mystery's solved!
At long last - the third and last installment of our limited edition range is about to make their way to a lunch bar near you! Dubbed the ‘Mystery Pie' up until now, Mrs Mac's are excited to be unveiling the latest delicious pie, adding it to our ever-expanding stable of savoury pastry products.
So introducing... the Meat Lovers pie! Guaranteed to bring out the carnivore in you!
This limited edition pie offers a wholesome smorgasbord of premium quality ingredients, suspended in rich, meaty gravy. Lightly seasoned with a top-note of chilli, the tasty blend of tender meat including chunky steak, cabanossi and pepperoni will no doubt tantalise the tastebuds of all meat lovers. The end result is a simple but unique recipe, brimming with proven favourite flavours (we also hear it's great served with BBQ sauce!)
Wrapped in tender golden pastry, the Meat Lovers pie comes in a generous 200g serve. This limited edition pie is available from June - August throughout Australia and New Zealand.
Vege Snac Roll - Bringing Vegies To Life For Busy People!
Psst! Word on the street is that Mrs Mac's are about to release the tastiest vegetable treat in a convenient snack size! The new Vege Snac Roll offers a mouthwatering and contemprorary vegetarian option, making it an ideal treat to grab and go any time of the day.
