Mrs Mac's pies awarded Bronze in the 2009 Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition
Mrs Mac's pies took out bronze at the 20th Anniversary Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition held in Sydney this month. The competition is designed to improve the profile of the meat pie industry and entries are judged on quality base pastry, filling and top pastry.
Judges awarded bronze in the Red Meat category to Mrs Mac's Tex Mex Pie. The Tex Mex Pie is a delicious new limited edition pie that is due to hit the market on October 5th.
Bronze certificates were also awarded to Mrs Mac's gourmet range of pies for the Red Embers Chicken, Leek & Mushroom Pie and the Red Embers Premium Steak Pie. These products have proven popular over a number of years in our Red Embers range, unwrapped for presentation in bakery units and cafes.
Mrs Mac's competition entries were taken straight off the manufacturing line to represent the pies that our customers purchase on a day-to-day basis. These awards are quite an achievement given that many entries from smaller bakeries are hand-made especially for the competition.
Since the beginning of the competition in 1990 Mrs Mac's has won at least one award every year.
NZACS 'Supplier of the Year 2009' Award in the Daily Fresh Category
We'd like to thank our loyal customers for making Mrs Mac's New Zealand's number one supplier in the Daily Fresh Category - for the third year in a row.
This prestigious New Zealand Association of Convenience Stores award is given to the supplier with the highest satisfaction rating in a survey of business operators and those at the coalface of the industry.

Mrs Mac's takes out Australasian Association of Convenience Stores "Fresh Food Supplier of the Year Award" in 2008 - for the fourth year running!
This prestigious award is given to the supplier with the highest satisfaction rating in a survey of business operators and those at the coalface of the industry.
Mrs Mac's is the first supplier to achieve four consecutive wins in any category and the only supplier to take out the award in both Australia and New Zealand in the same year for two years running.

Since the beginning of the ‘Official Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition' in 1990 Mrs Mac's has won at least one award every year.

Training Excellence Award, 2004
Mrs Mac's also received the ‘Australian Institute of Management Large Employer of the Year Award' in 2004. This award was received in recognition of outstanding achievement in vocational education and training.
